How to look up my IP address

With the internet, nobody knows who's who. Actually-that's not true-everybody can be identified through the internet. This is done through the IP address. How can I look up my ip address, you ask. Here is a quick guide.
Boot up your computer and make sure you can connect to the internet. Click the windows key to bring up the start menu. Scroll through the programs menu to find the command prompt. Double click it to find the black window.
Type in the command "ipconfig" to bring up a list of your ip addresses. IP addresses are internet protocol addresses that identify your internet line. All IPs are registered to a certain ISP, internet service provider, and they can provide information on who is in possession of what IP address.
