There are disturbing reports that law enforcement officials are requesting access to private emails, instant messages, voicemails and IP data at an increasing rate from digital media companies including Facebook, AOL and Sprint.

Research from Indiana University indicates that that these days, the police or FBI can obtain most of the data they need from the comfort and safety of their own desks, with a few mouse clicks, a fax, or a phone call to a telecommunications company or ISP. Many of these companies have even developed self-service websites exclusively for law enforcement agents to retrieve user data without any assistance. Digital data being requested by police include but is not limited to wiretaps and electronic communications intercepts, stored emails, instant messages, web browsing history and search engine records, as well as geo-location information from mobile phones, both historical and real time. Verizon alone said they receive over 90,000 requests a year from law enforcement alone.

An IP address tracking service is launched by IP-Address.org, which helps to trace the source of any unsolicited content. IP-Address.org uses a high end IP address tracking technology, which helps in accurate IP address searching and tracing. It offers two sensational features i.e. IP Address Lookup and IP Address Locator.
The website starts tracing the location of IP Address the very moment you enter the IP address in to the Form field; each search provides extremely accurate search results, this is possible due to, two great address providing tools called Whois IP and Trace E-mail. Their accuracy can't be question as they provide related geographical details like postal codes.
IP-Address.org also gives the information about the Internet connection being used, and the best thing about this service is that it comes for free.

It is estimated that the world is facing an IP address crisis where online world is running out of them. This threat is apparently a decade old. The IP address shortage problem had not been dealt with seriously before this.
The world is being slowly conditioned to buckle up and ready the requirements for IPv6, since IPv4 will not be able to bear the growing numbers of the IP address. Mobile phones are touted to be the next big customers for the IP address.
IPv4 uses 32-bit addressing. It can support 4.3 billion computers and other devices connected to the Internet at the same point of time. On the other hand IPv6 systems use128-bit addresses, but is not compatible with IPv4's IP address and content. So it will just generate a blank page if a mobile phone user transferred from IPv4 to IPv6 system. Now there has also been a rise in formation of cartels and hoarding, resulting in selling IP addresses at exorbitant prices.
